We are a Scottish registered charity based in Edinburgh serving the whole of Scotland. We originally had the intention of meeting the need for a telephone support service for family members of dementia sufferers. We pivoted during the pandemic to something that was very much an urgent situation that we were ideally placed to deal with effectively.

It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to work out that if the Government throws huge sums of money at Furlough Schemes and other relief packages, there will be a shortfall elsewhere. Unfortunately it hit the smaller, localised services that are run by volunteers and provide services to their community that are very much valued. In fact 92% of those surveyed said they are most reliant on these type of organisations, because of the personal level of service, consistency, reliability and genuine care provided by Support Groups & Community Organisations.

These organisations would be forced to shut up shop for good and the people to lose out would be the patients and carers who are so reliant on the services. We went straight to the drawing board and this is what we arrived at.... the first organisation totally run by volunteers, utilising the power of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to create income for the smaller, unfunded but absolutely vital services of Good Causes who are also operated solely by volunteers.

We make this possible by, if necessary, saving them from closure in the short term and teaching our Automatic Outreach & Fundraising System to everybody involved, from the volunteers to the trustees. We take away all the stress and the hassles of fundraising, admin and outreach, leaving the team to do what they do best - service delivery. Every single penny we raise is used to move forwards the objects of the charity. We had the foresight thankfully, to choose the SCIO model, meaning we are incorporated and can operate more as a charitable company, with the endeavours of our organisation funding and powering the real, genuine Good Causes. We will do it without relying on funding of course, practising what we preach!

We are the pioneers of the Make It Mandatory Campaign to stamp out misrepresentation and fraud in the Charity Sector, urging Police Scotland and Edinburgh City Council to make our Live Identity Verification system mandatory for ALL charities and their fundraisers. We want to protect the sector, the public and future generations.
